Back in Turkey for another ski holiday. This time I managed to take a day and have a look around Erzurum which is a very old city that had faily regularly changed hands between the waring empire of the day. Hence the fortress in the centre is immense but there isn’t a lot left of the old city.
Erzurum is also the origin of the Cağ kebabı so I had one of those too.
